Ms. Maiello’s major area of practice is civil litigation with a focus on medical malpractice defense and insurance coverage and defense. She also has experience in appellate advocacy, toxic tort defense and general business litigation.

While at the University of Connecticut School of Law, Ms. Maiello was Executive Director of the Moot Court Board. In addition, she represented UConn in regional and national trial competitions. In her third year, Ms. Maiello also served as a student attorney in the Criminal Trial Clinic and as Fidelity & Surety Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.
