Ms. Waltman practices insurance coverage and insurance defense litigation. Her work includes representation of insurance carriers on first and third-party coverage disputes, as well as individual and corporate defendants on motor vehicle, property, landlord-tenant and animal claims. She is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Connecticut.

Ms. Waltman graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, summa cum laude, with Honor’s Program distinction. She was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a two-time recipient of the Scholar’s Award for Academic Achievement. In 1998, she graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law. While in law school, she served as Symposium Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and President of the Connecticut Client Advocacy Board.

Prior to joining the firm in September, 2007, Ms. Waltman was an associate with another prominent firm from 1998 to 2007.
