Ms. Rafferty practices civil litigation with an emphasis on toxic tort defense. As a paralegal, prior to law school, she assisted in defending a large scale product liability case. While in law school, Ms. Rafferty was a legal intern at Zhong Lun Law Firm in Beijing P.R. China, where she participated in a World Bank study to provide suggestions on the amendment of China's Company Act to the Legal Affairs Office of the State Council of China.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rafferty was an associate at a mid-sized insurance defense firm in Fairfield County.
